Delete Your ShowUp Account
You can request deletion of your ShowUp account from this page even if you no longer have the app installed. This path stays available even when a final cycle charge or review is unresolved. The ShowUp Android app also links to this page from its Legal and account section.
Request account deletionWhat to Send
Email contact@uvbolt.com with the subject "ShowUp account deletion request" and include:
- The email address, phone number, or Google account used for ShowUp.
- A short line saying you want your ShowUp account deleted.
- Do not send your password, payment credentials, card details, bank details, or OTP codes.
What Happens Next
We will verify that the request belongs to the account holder and respond within 7 days. After verification, we will delete or de-identify account data within 30 days, except where retention is required to operate the service or meet legal, security, payment, tax, accounting, dispute, fraud-prevention, or platform obligations.
If you used Witness, deletion disables Witness invite and access links. Witnesses see generic unavailable copy; ShowUp does not tell them whether access ended because of deletion, revocation, a report, a review, or expiry.
If your account has an active cycle, unresolved final cycle charge, open dispute, fraud review, or pending Google Play reconciliation, deletion may be completed after that issue is resolved. Starting deletion does not cancel a valid final cycle charge or remove the dispute path. Unresolved charges do not add late fees, interest, or collections. You can still start the request now.
Data That May Be Retained
Some records may be retained after account deletion when needed for legitimate reasons. This can include payment ledger entries, Google Play order references, audit logs, dispute records, fraud-prevention records, Witness report or block records, tax or accounting records, and records needed to comply with law or platform enforcement.
