ShowUpAndroid accountability app

ShowUp helps you keep showing up.

Choose a real place, set a voluntary 30-day commitment, and check in there with foreground GPS. ShowUp keeps the loop narrow: spot, target, check-in, result.

How it works

A compact loop for place-based habits.

ShowUp is not a fitness tracker, coach, rewards product, or background location service. It is a narrow accountability app for one thing: verifying that you showed up to the place you chose.

01

Choose the spot

Pick the physical place that matters to the habit: a gym, studio, library, pool, coworking space, practice room, or your own pin.

02

Confirm the cycle

Set the commitment amount and target show-ups for 30 days, and invite a witness if you want one to follow along. The app shows the terms before the cycle starts.

03

Check in there

Open ShowUp at the spot and verify the visit with foreground GPS. One verified check-in can count per day.

04

Review the result

At the end, completed targets show a zero final cycle charge. Missed targets can be reviewed before resolving.

Witness

An invited witness follows your progress, not your private details.

ShowUp lets you invite a witness into a cycle — a friend, family member, or coach. You share a link, they accept, and from then on they can follow your verified progress. What else they see is up to you: the spot name and final result stay off until you turn them on, and your payments and exact location are never shared.

You invite a witness with a link, and they accept before they can follow along.

The spot name and final result are off by default — you choose what to reveal.

Your payments and exact location are never shared.

A witness can send up to five encouraging nudges a cycle, at most one a day — and you can mute them anytime.

A witness can't change, pause, or pay for your cycle. It stays yours.

A witness can take part from a browser, so the app is optional for them.

Inside the app

The Android screens keep the commitment visible.

The product moves through a few repeatable surfaces — sign-in and setup through to active cycle, daily check-in, and final result. These are the states users see as they commit, verify, and resolve.

Sign-in

One sign-in keeps the cycle attached.

Account sign-in keeps the spot, the cycle, and the receipt history together. Continue with Google, phone, or email.

Setup

The cycle is shown before it starts.

Setup names the spot, the commitment level, the target days, and the maximum final charge before the cycle is confirmed.

Day 1

The cycle starts with one promise.

After confirmation, the cycle begins on Day 1 with a single commitment: show up at the spot.

Active cycle

The day and the spot stay center.

The home screen carries the current day, the chosen spot, verified progress, and the primary check-in action.

Check-in

A verified day shows up directly.

A successful check-in confirms the day and timestamp on the cycle. Foreground GPS is used only at this moment.

Progress

The calendar holds the full cycle.

A 30-day calendar shows every day of the cycle, the days that count toward the target, and the remaining commitment in one place.

Target met

A met target closes as a receipt.

A completed target shows a target-met badge and a 30-day receipt with every verified day, kept reviewable after the cycle closes.

Witness

A witness sees progress, not private details.

An invited witness can follow a cycle's verified progress. The spot name and final result stay off until you share them, and payments and exact location stay private.

Spots

Use the place that matters to the habit.

ShowUp is location-agnostic. The spot is chosen by the user, not by a fixed fitness program.
